Historique :	Oeuvre du sculpteur Félix Charpentier (1858-1924), signée et datée du 22 juillet 1892. Plâtre original. Don du sculpteur vers 1900. Exemplaire original de la figure surmontant le monument commémorant le centenaire de la réunion d'Avignon et du Comtat Venaissin à la France, inauguré à Avignon le 14 juillet 1891. Ce plâtre reprend la figure allégorique dans un style à l'antique, tel qu'il se développe à la fin du 19e siècle.
