Historique :	Saint Amérine n'est pas une sainte connue. Il est probable que le nom ait été déformé et qu'il s'agisse d'une autre sainte (Emeline ?). Christophe Bordier, historien, avance l'hypothèse qu'il s'agissait d'une vierge et martyre romaine. Ses restes auraient été donnés par Grégoire XVI à l'abbé lozérien Charles de Moré de Charaix (château de Cheminade). Le sceau n'a pas permis d'identifier son propriétaire, cet ecclésiastique n'appartient pas au clergé local. Il est probable que ce reliquaire ait été acheté et offert à Saint-Victor.

Précision sur_l'état :	Oeuvre restaurée en 2011 par Laëtitia Guillemin.
Précision_sur la representation :	Le médaillon contenant la relique est fermé par cinq sceaux de cire frappés d'un blason, à priori d'archevêque, reconnaissable à ses dix houppes sur 5 rangs.
