Historique :	Ces huit stalles exécutées vers 1788 pour le choeur de la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Chartres furent supprimées en 1866 lors de la destruction de l'entrée du choeur et immédiatement transportées dans la chapelle du séminaire Saint-Charles (archives départementales). Les stalles des côtés nord et sud du choeur sont toujours en place.
